Is the wade fishing too populated on the Missouri River right now? There are times where the above pictured location is a bit busy. Lots of fisherman and fisherwomen ask this question in July. There is still room and fish for everyone, I would say no the crowds are manageable. Get out early, find your spot, a good run that gives you plenty of water to work for a few hours.
Slow down and fish the water you have. You may not catch all your fish on dries. Drop a fly, swing one, do whatever it takes to put a wiggler in the net (including watching a float). We all get caught up in the excitement of fishing this World class dry fly fishery and forget that we are partaking in a sport were a 5 year old kid can hook up as well. Its just fishing, have fun out there!
